Peruvian Travertine Straight Coping

Peruvian Travertine has become the leader and "go to" product for swimming pool application.  Inca Stone's Peruvian Travertine is one of the only natural stones in the industry that can be used in water-line and submersible application in swimming pools.  Being that our Peruvian Travertine has tested with 99.9% Calcium Carbonate, the most reliable and stable Calcuim you can have in a natural stone, Muratic acids, chlorine, and saline pools do not effect our stone; unlike other natural stones, pre-cast, and concrete products. 

Our Peruvian Travertine pool coping is sold in "true sizing".  If you request a 12x24, you will receive a 12x24. Unlike the other travertine brands in the market place, we do sell a true 5cm or 2" thick coping.  Our coping is not 1-3/4" thick much like you will find with Turkish or Mexican travertine copings.  If you price compare our Peruvian Travertine at a true 5cm thickness in comparison to a 1-3/4" thick Turkish product, we have shown that we are cheaper than most and for those that we find ourselves more expense, we are normally within only $160 more expensive per 80 lineal feet.  With the average pool ranging from $35,000 to $200,000; we have yet found a customer that wouldn't spend the extra $160 - $220 on our more superior Peruvian Travertine coping.  As you were informed earlier, our travertine products are quarried from over 12,000+ feet above sea level and for that reason, you will find minimal to no voids in our stone.  Our Peruvian Travertine is very compact for that reason and supersedes all other travertine currently in the market place!

Inca Stone's Peruvian Travertine does not contain any metals in any of our colors.  The absence of metal in our stone provides great traits that separates us from other products in the industry (ie. blue stones, quartzites, argelites, sandstones, brick, and concrete).  The non-metal component of our stone allows you to utilize muratic acids for cleaning and will not cause our Peruvian Travertine to oxidize, discolor, or etch.  You will not have any leeching of rust from our Peruvian Travertine.  

One of the greatest selling points of our Peruvian Travertine, since not containing metals, is that it does not matter how hot the day; our Peruvian Travertine will not becoming scorching hot in the sun.  You will find that even during 100+ degree days, your family, kids, and pets can walk directly on our coping and pavers without having to put on sandals.  You are also able to lay on our Peruvian Travertine with bare skin and not have to use a towel or wet down the surface to prevent burning yourself.

We have tested our Inca Stone Peruvian Travertine, and have shown to rate excellent in exterior applications.  Our slip co-efficiency of friction exceeds ASTM industry standards, and meets all American Disability Act requirements.  

Due to Inca Stone's Peruvian travertine's density, we have shown to have a compression strength of over 12,000+ P.S.I. for 2" thick material.  Which surpasses by more than double your typical concrete paver at 5" thick at 5,000+ P.S.I.  We have been using 2cm or 3/4" pavers on driveway overlays, and 2" pavers on driveways with a sand set application without any failure.
